Permition for the modification of the part "Lebanon"
[edit]Lebanon is not allied to any country, although it has/had economic relationships with nearby arab countries: Syria, Egypt, Palestine and Jordan. The Lebanese government is not allied to the US yet it has received 1 billion USD worth of military assistance [1], whereas Iran hasn't assisted the Lebanese GOVERNMENT in any way, and when I say government I mean the Lebanese Republic, Iran finances Hezbollah, not Lebanon and considers Hezbollah an ally to Iran [2], more than half of the Lebanese population considers Hezbollah a terrorist organization, mainly March 14 Alliance supporters. Hezbollah used to be part of the March 8 alliance, an alliance formed by political parties that support the Iranian-backed Syrian government, it was created as a reaction to the March 14 alliance which protested the exit of the Iranian-Backed Syrian government [3]. And some Lebanese people consider allying with Israel to get rid of Hezbollah in the country [4].
